Financial Aid

This application is available at the Financial Aid Office in February prior to Summer Session registration. You may also download the application from the Financial Aid Office Web site.

Summer aid eligibility is based on remaining eligibility and funds from the previous fall/spring semesters. You may be eligible for Summer financial aid if:

  • You received a Pell Grant during the academic year but did not attend full-time (12 or more undergraduate hours) during the fall and/or spring semesters OR
  • You want to borrow a Federal Direct Loan and have remaining eligibility for summer OR
  • You want to borrow under the alternative loan program for summer OR
  • You worked under the Federal Work-Study (FWS) Program during the academic year and would like to continue to work this summer (FWS depends on the availability of funds) and will be enrolled for at least one course.

You may also visit the Financial Aid web site for information about scholarships and employment opportunities that may be available for the summer session.
